Heart for the City

Spiritual growth is fostered not only by what we gain through the support and input of others, but also through service to others. The role each of us fills is important to the health of the church and for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community (Ephesians 4:11-16). Throughout the quarter, it is our hope you can find and/or be affirmed in the ways God has designed you to serve and make a difference in God’s Kingdom

Homeless Outreach

We believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and we are committed to helping the homeless rebuild their lives. If you would like to get involved in our homeless ministry, please fill out the form below.

We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances. We also believe that the homeless are some of the most vulnerable people in our community, and that we have a responsibility to help them.

Our homeless ministry is committed to meeting the immediate needs of the homeless, as well as helping them to find long-term solutions to their problems.

Here are some ways we can give hope to the homeless:

  • Meet their immediate needs. This includes providing food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. When we meet their basic needs, we show them that we care about them and that they are not alone.

  • Build relationships with them. This is the most important thing we can do to give hope to the homeless. When we take the time to get to know them and their stories, we show them that they are valued and respected.

  • Help them to find long-term solutions to their problems. This may involve helping them find employment, housing, or treatment for addiction or mental illness. When we help them to get back on their feet, we give them hope for the future.

  • Pray for them. Prayer is a powerful way to show the homeless that we are thinking of them and that we care about their well-being.

We believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of the homeless and give them hope for the future.

CARE PACKAGES

We believe that a simple act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life. When we provide a care package to someone in need, we are showing them that we care about them and that we are there for them.

We believe that everyone deserves to be shown love and compassion, regardless of their circumstances. We also believe that there are many people in our community who are struggling, and that we can make a difference in their lives by providing them with care packages.

Our care package ministry is committed to providing essential items to people and families in need. We pack our care packages with food, clothing, personal care items, and other necessities. We also include a note of encouragement and hope.

We deliver our care packages to people and families in need throughout our community.

Here are some of the items we typically include in our care packages:

  • Non-perishable food items

  • Toiletries

  • Personal care items

  • Clothing

  • Blankets
