Spiritual Intelligence - Part 2
Life Group Leader Guide
π LEADER'S BULLETIN
Leader Heart Check You carry something rare β the willingness to show up week after week and shepherd people toward God. This week's message is a reminder that the same Spirit resting on Jesus rests on you: the Spirit of might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. Lead from that place. You are not doing this in your own strength, and that is your greatest advantage.

π CONNECTION KEY (Leader Briefing)
Core Theme: Spiritual intelligence is not acquired through information alone β it is activated through the Spirit of might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord, and it changes how we execute, perceive, and posture ourselves before God.
Key Discussion Goals:
Help group members identify where patterns, procrastination, or excuses have stalled their spiritual execution
Distinguish between human-acquired information and Spirit-given revelation in their daily walk with God
Cultivate a genuine, working understanding of what it means to fear the Lord and why it unlocks angelic protection and divine wisdom
Encourage members to move from passivity to Spirit-empowered action in their personal lives
Leader Tip: This message covers three distinct but deeply connected attributes, so pace yourself and don't rush through all three points at equal depth. Point 5 (The Power to Execute) is likely where your group will have the most personal tension, as patterns, shame, and procrastination are painfully relatable. Create space for honest reflection there before moving forward. Point 7 (The Fear of the Lord) can feel abstract to some members, so anchor it in the concrete promise of angelic protection and the posture of humility, and let that become the emotional and spiritual landing point for the evening.
Key Phrase: "It's grace empowering execution."
Sermon Points
7 Attributes Of Spiritual Intelligence.
5. The Power to Execute
Scriptures:
Isaiah 11:2 (NKJV)
Matthew 7:29 (KJV)
Proverbs 25:15 (NKJV)
Proverbs 22:13 (NKJV)
Ecclesiastes 9:4 (NIV)
Judges 16:20β22 (NIV)
The Spirit of might is not brute willpower. It is grace-empowered execution. Many believers carry genuine gifts and calling, yet find themselves stuck in repeated cycles: blessing others without receiving, networking with people who are waiting for their fall, or hiding behind excuses dressed up as wisdom. The story of Samson is a sobering mirror. He woke up thinking he could operate as he always had, unaware that the Spirit had departed. Yet even in his lowest moment, his hair began to grow again. There is always a grace to return, to rise, and to act. The power to execute is not about trying harder. It is about moving in alignment with the Spirit who gives authority and momentum.
Reflection Questions:
Where in your life have you noticed a repeated cycle that has not broken yet, and what story have you been telling yourself about why?
What does it look like practically for you to move from waiting to executing this week?
Samson did not realize the Spirit had left him. What are some signs in your own life that you might be operating in your own strength rather than God's?
How does the phrase "grace empowering execution" challenge or reframe the way you think about motivation and action?
6. The Gift of Knowing
Scriptures:
Isaiah 11:2 (NKJV)
Hosea 4:6 (NKJV)
Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
Knowledge, in the Spirit, is not a collection of facts. It is divine insight into realities that the natural mind simply cannot access. God speaks through seeing, hearing, and knowing, and the gift of a word of knowledge is one of the clearest expressions of heaven interpreting reality on our behalf. The contrast between human knowledge and Spirit-given knowledge is striking: one comes through study, the other through communion; one informs, the other gives discernment; one puffs up, the other produces humility. Hosea's warning that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge is not a call to read more, but to know Him more. The goal of this gift is always a deeper knowledge of God Himself, not merely an accumulation of spiritual insight.
Reflection Questions:
What is the difference between knowing about God and actually knowing God, and where do you currently find yourself on that spectrum?
Can you recall a time when you had a sense of knowing something that you could not have reasoned your way to? How did you respond to it?
How does your current rhythm of communion with God position you to receive revelation rather than just information?
In what area of your life do you most need heaven's interpretation of reality right now?
7. The Fear of the Lord
Scriptures:
Isaiah 11:2 (NKJV)
Proverbs 9:10 (NKJV)
Psalm 34:6β7 (NKJV)
Acts 12:14β15 (NIV)
Hebrews 1:14 (NKJV)
Revelation 5:5β8 (NIV)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, not the end of it, but the very ground from which everything else grows. To fear the Lord is to live in such holy reverence that His presence becomes the orienting reality of your life, and from that posture, angelic assistance is not a theological concept but a lived experience. The scene in Acts 12 is remarkable: the early church was praying for Peter, and when he showed up at the door, they could not believe it, yet they half-believed it might be his angel. Angels are ministering spirits assigned to those who will inherit salvation, and the fear of the Lord positions us to receive that ministry. The Lamb with seven eyes and seven horns, representing the fullness of wisdom and power, has sent those seven Spirits into all the earth. To walk in the fear of the Lord is to walk in step with what heaven is already doing on our behalf.
Reflection Questions:
How would you describe the fear of the Lord to someone who has never heard the phrase, and how has your own understanding of it changed over time?
What does it practically look like to live with holy reverence in your everyday decisions, relationships, and habits?
The people in Acts 12 were praying for a miracle but were shocked when it happened. How often do you expect God to actually respond, and what would it look like to expect more?
If you genuinely believed angels were actively ministering on your behalf, how might that change the way you pray or move through your week?
π Practical Application
The Challenge
This week, identify one area of your life where you have been procrastinating or making excuses and take one concrete step forward. It does not have to be big. It has to be real. Write it down, tell someone in your group, and do it before the next time you gather.
Audit / Reflection
Honestly ask yourself: Am I operating primarily from information I have gathered, or from revelation I have received through communion with God? Take a few minutes this week to sit in stillness before the Lord, not with an agenda or a Bible study plan, but simply to be with Him and listen. Notice what He says.
Prayer Focus
Pray as a group for a fresh activation of the Spirit of might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord in each member's life. Ask God to reveal where patterns have taken root that need to be broken. Pray for one another by name, declaring that grace is empowering execution in every person's story and that the angelic assistance of heaven is moving on behalf of those who fear the Lord.
π£ Weekly Declaration
I am not operating in my own strength. The Spirit of the Lord rests upon me, and His grace is empowering me to execute what He has called me to do. I reject every excuse, every cycle of delay, and every lie that tells me my moment has passed. I walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of my wisdom, and I trust that angelic assistance is actively working on my behalf. I receive not just information but the revelation that comes from knowing God personally, and that knowledge shapes how I see every situation in my life. I am alive, I have hope, and I am moving forward. Amen.
